Pauline's swimming career began in the late sixties when she was 'discovered' practicing an Australian start in the style of Dawn Fraser.

Pauline is a former competitive swimmer from England, with many county and Inter-services records. She trained with the British squad and was the Royal Air Force and Inter-services champion of Great Britain.

Pauline coached swimming in South Africa with Alistair Hatfield, the former Head Coach South African Swimming Team.

Currently Pauline runs the Emduroswim squads, is the Head Coach of the Barracuda Swim Club and Churchlands SHS Swim Program.

English Channel: 19 successful relays with many international awards for fastest across the channel for their particular year, oldest team in the world award and winner of the Australian Masters Sports Award. Oldest woman in the world successful to swim solo twice.

English Channel: 7 successful solo swims.

Manhattan Island Swim: 4 successful solo swims.

Churchlands SHS: Winners of the last eight State Interschool's 'A' Division Carnivals.

Successfully coached Shane Gould to a Masters world record.
